Flings you a stein of green goo.
If I could rate this week I would give it a solid 3 out 5.
Why? Because I have a stomach flu. 🙁 Not fun.
I managed to get 1k down for my April Camp NaNo novel. My monthly goal was 50,000 but I lowered it to 25,000 simply because I feel like pacing myself.
On a brighter note, I saw Transformers on Wednesday (and didn’t write anything) with my brothers.
I think we all had the same reaction:
Young Brother: “It was a movie of epic proportions!”
Younger Brother: “It was AWESOME!!!”
Me: “It was great.”
A movie worth seeing in my opinion.
As for today…I hope I can write something…
Looks at your untouched glass of goop.
You gonna drink that?
How was your first NaNo week?
I hit the 10,000 word mark this morning – with one injury reported yesterday. Camp NaNoWriMo is a brutal place, isn’t it?
Yes…yes it is
Eeek I’m behind on my word count because of road tripping with my family/chemistry homework… Hopefully I’ll be able to catch up after Monday, though. I hope your stomach flu gets better! D:
I’ll trade you my stomach flu for your homework! That’s fair, right? lol
Oh no, I’m alright with my homework, thanks 😛
I’m a tad bit behind but hope to catch up tonight. Fireworks and the family thing, ya know…no green goo for me. I’m on a goo free diet.
Suit yourself!
Chugs it
…Excuse me I have to go to the bathroom…
(Good luck with catching up)
Good idea to pace yourself! I’ve personally never taken part in it but I’m thinking next year I might have a go and set a low-ish goal 🙂 I’m surprised transformers was good, I might make the effort to go and see it! I’m surprised because I’ve always though the first was good and the rest were rubbish in comparison 😉
I know what you mean but I liked this Transformers because they changed a few dynamics in it. There’s a whole new cast and a (sorta) fresh new story line. At the same time I’ve always been a transformers nerd so that’s probably why I liked it as much as I did.
As for Camp NaNo, you should give it a try! I learned a lot from the event that I wouldn’t have if I didn’t join in. There’s a NaNoWriMo in November that’s pretty good to. The only difference is that the goal for November’s NaNo is to write a 50,000 word manuscript.
Yeah, I absolutely loved the first one, I’ll definitely check it out then 🙂
Hmm, I probably would have been better off trying this month first 😉 I don’t mind though, I might give it a try 🙂
